25 things that I learned in 2009
I just wanted to take the time to share a few things that I have learned this year. Like I mentioned in my video, I didn’t really learn all of them this year but some of them made a big impact on my life in 2009.
As this year comes to an end and as I prepare myself to enter this new decade, I can’t stop myself from reflecting on 2009.
Here’s 25 things that I learned in 2009.
- There is no substitute for hard work.
- You can only be yourself so why not be your best self.
- We all need a break.
- The only way to get good at something is to do it over, over and over again.
- If you have a skill and you don’t use it, you will lose it.
- If you don’t have a personal relationship with God, you can’t call him when you’re in trouble.
- The words we choose to say out loud should be carefully thought of, each of them have so much power.
- Every human being was put here for a special purpose, some just don’t know it yet.
- Every day should be celebrated, life is short and we never know when it’s our time to go.
- Good health, good friends and a good family are among the greatest blessings we can get.
- True love is way more than a word.
- Forgiving is not easy but it’s worth it.
- One decision can change the rest of your life.
- You don’t need to be rich to give time or money.
- Giving to others is a sign that you believe in their potential
- To be a good leader you first need to learn how to be a great follower.
- If you believe in yourself, more people will believe in you.
- Most people chasing the money will never be wealthy.
- Passive income is the name of the game.
- If you give more, you get more.
- Values are really important. There are things you should never compromise on.
- Being a real man is a fulltime job.
- Everyday you get to choose between doing good or evil.
- There is nothing such thing as a small thing. You never know what impact something will have in the future.
- There is no top, unless you get to heaven.
Feel free to share a few things that you’ve learned this year. Perhaps we learned some of the same things
