Don’t take my words for it but in my opinion: “I’m truly the hottest webmaster in the universe“.

I don’t mean that I’m the hottest in Canada or the best in the world and just in case that you missed it let me say it again “I’m the hottest webmaster in the universe“.

By now you must be pretty annoyed by me and my little comment. I know that it may sound like I’m bragging here but trust me “I wouldn’t be saying that if it wasn’t absolutely true”.

My comment doesn’t have to do with physical appearance and the simple reason for that is simple: I don’t know all the webmasters in the universe. I know the names of the ones that previously screwed up my current client’s websites and the names of the ones that do amazing work that inspires me at times. Otherwise I know of few more but that’s about it.

So Why Am I The Hottest Webmaster In The Universe?

This is so simple that some people will miss it. When you build a website, you may want a nice looking website with lots of bells and whistles but the number one reason people get a website is to make money. I know that some of you may be tempted to say that your thirst of wealth is not your main reason for starting a website but let me tell you by experience that this is true for most people.

Web design is like real estate in many ways and because I have a foot in both fields I’m able to see how these fields are both similar in many ways. You can buy a pre built website or buy one that will be custom made for you. Once you get the property you will have to maintain it and you can take the time to learn how to do the work yourself or you can pay for a professional to do it for you. You can buy an ugly property with a lot of potential or buy a cheap property, you enjoy the area for a bit and if you like it then you can make updates to it. Once the property increases in value you can sell it if you want or keep it to add to your portfolio. All this and much more is also true about websites.

Understanding this, in my opinion, makes me the hottest webmaster in the universe. I personally make money online therefore I understand a few things that others in my field may not know about. This is the same a choosing a real estate agent that doesn’t own a property? I know that I wouldn’t. So why do you go for a webmaster that doesn’t make money online. Do you really think that he will be able to help you because he makes great looking sites on poor founations?

Winston Churchill said “However beautiful the strategy, you should occasionally look at the results.”

Why not go for the hottest webmaster in the universe?

It seems like Mondays are always a struggle for most people to get back to work (including me). The weekend is so short and when it starts to be fun and amusing everything stops and its time to get back to work.

I discovered something about myself tough. If I go to be early on Sunday then the week starts on a positive note but if I don’t I struggle even more for the rest of the week.

So this post is not going to be anything extra elaborate. I just want to challenge you to try sleeping early so that you get enough rest which I hope will also help you start the week on a positive note.

Let me know this worked for you if you try it out. If you have other tips, I’d be more than happy to hear about them as well.

Have a great and positive week!

In the past few months you may have noticed that I’ve been missing in action. No worries, I’m fine and life is treating me well these days.

I took a long break to reflect on actions that I was taking towards my being and my business. I guess you could say that I got back to the source took a pen and and lots of paper and decided to write a few things.

I didn’t design much for new clients and outsourced most of the maintenance that I had for new clients. Thankfully I know a few reliable people that I can trust with these sort of things.

Now, I’m back. Back on the computers, back in the networking meeting, back in the conference rooms, back in my books and back to the pen and paper.

I don’t know if you’re a client, potential client, an investor, a friend, a family member or someone just browsing but I’d like to thank you for passing by and I want to let you know that I value you for taking the time to read what I had to say.

I’ll be on Twitter and some of the social media platforms a little less for the following few months but I’m back on the web and I’m open for business so if you need anything just ask.

I also changed my website’s layout to something basic and simple and I’ll use the site to experiment a little more so don’t be surprised if you see some unfinished work on here or some content that has nothing to do with web design, you’ve been warned. I’m going back to the source.

God bless you!
